Outcome: Kifid partly upheld the complaint for late handling of sale requests; recoverable damage EUR 458, 50% attributed to the consumer; DEGIRO ordered to pay EUR 250 (non-binding advice). Not verified: Second gap-closing pass (2026-10-11): five further searches (degiro.com fees / US stock handling fee; investor protection and segregation; degiro.nl/.de price list; site:degiro.com fees) returned only third-party review sites (brokerchooser, quantroutine, curvo, investingintheweb) and no degiro.com/.nl/.de page, so no official fee schedule or protection page was read; costs still rest on the dated Nov 2021 group press release plus third-party figures and cost_1000usd_pct stays null. Compensation scheme and segregation remain unclear: the flatexDEGIRO Annual Report 2025 (read to p. 48) reports custody volume mEUR 89,262.7 and deposits mEUR 6,189.4 but does not state deposit-guarantee scheme membership or segregation in the pages read. BaFin company register entry not opened. BaFin pages for the Dec 2025 (EUR 560k) and Apr 2026 (EUR 1m) fines were not in search results; both rest on press. Rotterdam court reduction of the EUR 700k fine to EUR 85k (Wikipedia) not verified. Three incident searches found no company-wide breach or outage since 2021-10-11; only one individual Kifid account-takeover case was found.
