Alpha Capital Group: rules, terms and fine print

England and Wales. Funds: simulated. Italy: not on the restricted list.

Read this first

Where the money is real, and where it is not

  • The challenge account is simulated. The firm describes the challenge account as simulated, not as trading with the firm's capital.
  • Your fee is real money, and it is spent. The evaluation fee (plus any reset, renewal or activation fee) leaves your bank account. If you fail, it is normally not refunded.
  • A payout is real money, but it is a promise. Profits earned on the simulated account are paid from the firm's own funds, and every firm reserves discretion over payouts and account closure in its terms.
  • Nobody independent verifies payouts. For most firms we found no certified third-party record of what was actually paid. Only the firm's own pages and trackers of unknown method.

What you are buying

Schedule 2 2.1-2.2: performance fees are described as a portion of profit from live trades Alpha or an affiliate may place based on users' virtual-trade 'Analysis', at Alpha's sole discretion; "you will never be provided with access to the live markets".

Payouts

How rewards are paid

  • First payout: n/v
  • Minimum: 100
  • Frequency: Bi-weekly or on-demand depending on plan add-on/choice
  • Independent proof: none found (no certified aggregator). Firm-claimed totals reported by Finance Magnates: $60M paid in 2024, ~$100M cumulative by Q1 2025, $120M cumulative by Dec 2025 (implying roughly $20M in 2025); figures are the company's, not independently verified. TheTrustedProp (referral-coded site) lists zero published payout-denial reports.

No regulator action or lawsuit against Alpha Capital Group Limited found (searches: lawsuit/FCA/payout proof 2025-2026; Finance Magnates tag page lists no lawsuit). Companies House: Active, incorporated 2 Nov 2021, accounts to 31 Mar 2025 filed. The July 2026 Tradovate/NinjaTrader suit (N.D. Ill. 1:26-cv-08846) is by Alpha Futures Limited, a different company. Payout totals are company claims ($120M cumulative, Dec 2025). Trustpilot score not used (no sample method).

The fine print

Rules and clauses that decide outcomes

  • News rule (Schedule 3): Pro, One, Three, Direct. No trade may be opened or closed in the 5 minutes before or after a listed high-impact release on the targeted instrument; stop/take-profit fills in the window count as a soft breach. source
  • Lot-limit breach sanction (Schedule 3). Assessed per position at withdrawal: first instance forfeits the performance fee, second deactivates the Qualified account. source
  • Order-book spamming and gambling policy (Schedule 3). Many small orders creating a misleading impression of activity prohibited (example: 1 lot split into several 0.1 lots); 'all or nothing' strategies prohibited, indicators include sudden lot changes, unusual durations, speculative news trades. source
  • Performance fee denial condition (Sch.2 2.6, full). Fee not paid where Alpha ascertains 'in our sole discretion' that virtual trades breached the Virtual Trading Rules (Sch.2 para 3 or condition 9) or otherwise breached the Terms. source
  • Jurisdiction (condition 28). English law; users may sue in English courts (Wales, Scotland, NI residents also at home); Alpha may sue a user in the user's country of residence. No arbitration clause. source
  • Qualified account breach outcomes. Prohibited strategy may lead to termination and possible service ban; breach of max daily or total loss closes the account. Schedule 4 provides a 14-day cancellation form under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. source
  • Add-ons (90% split, swap-free). Each about 10% of base price (example $18 on a $177 Alpha Pro 8% 25K); 90% split for Alpha One and on-demand Alpha Pro; swap-free (MT5) replaces swaps with $5/lot commission and disables Expert Advisors; cannot be added later. source
  • Max lot exposure (Alpha Pro). Per-size maximum lot exposure listed for 5K to 300K; max allocation $400,000 shared across Pro, Swing, One, Three and Direct. source
  • Evaluation time limit and inactivity basis. Terms 8.2.1: "There are no time limits applicable to the Evaluations"; 9.1.4: failing an evaluation closes the account. source
  • Minimum trading days. Terms 9.1.9: Alpha One 1 day; Pro and Swing 3 days per phase; Three 3 days per phase; must keep trading until met even if target reached. source
  • Hard breach on equity. Daily drawdown breaches are applied on open trades (equity); breach closes all trades and the account (Sch.1 notes). Daily reset 00:00 broker time. source
  • Rules may change, site prevails. 1.4: if schedules differ from the Site, "our Site shall take precedence"; 5.1: Alpha may change terms in its sole discretion; 9.1.8: Schedule 3 rules updatable on site; 9.1.7: Alpha may decide "at our own discretion" which trades or practices are not allowed. source
  • Max Risk Rule (Qualified accounts bought after 21 Jul 2026). Open drawdown on any single asset reaching 3% (5K-25K), 2% (50K-200K) or 1% (Alpha Direct) closes the account; positions on same asset combined; closing and reopening same direction within 10 minutes combined. source
  • Focused Trader Group leverage cut. Qualified accounts can be moved to reduced leverage and lot limits for 'extreme scalping', 'all or nothing' risk, excessive lots, gambling through news, or 'account rolling'; exit is a discretionary Risk-team review; account rolling may cause a 30-day pause. source
  • Payout minimums and withdrawal mechanics. Bi-weekly: $100 gross profit minimum; on-demand: 2% gross profit (Alpha Direct: 3% buffer then 1%). All virtual trades must be closed at request and trading pauses until withdrawal is paid. Processing 2 business days, up to 14 if verification needed. source
  • Fee is a discretionary share of profits from Alpha's own trades. Sch.2 2.1-2.2: performance fee represents a portion of profit on a live trade placed by Alpha or an affiliate based on user analysis, in Alpha's sole discretion. source
  • Non-disparagement and legal costs. 27.1: user agrees not to disparage Alpha; Alpha may terminate access, determination "final and binding". 27.2: user pays Alpha's legal costs in disputes "regardless of the outcome". source
  • Max allocation. 9.1.3: Qualified accounts max $400,000 per household and $300,000 per strategy (traded asset); no cap on evaluation accounts. source
  • Tradeable assets. 9.1.6: "FX/Indices/Commodities" only. source
  • Position spamming definition and sanctions. 3+ positions each opened within 60 seconds of the previous one for one trade idea; breach: Alpha may terminate immediately, remove profits of the payout window and postpone payout; passed evaluations subject to review. source
  • Drawdown/daily loss basis. Alpha One, Pro 6% use higher of day-start balance or equity for daily loss; Pro 8%, Pro 10%, Swing balance-based; open losses count. Alpha One drawdown trails from high-water mark. Alpha Three (3-step) not sold to new buyers. source
  • Inactivity. Account deactivated after 30 consecutive days without a trade; no evaluation time limit stated. source
  • Weekend holding. Alpha Pro: allowed in evaluation, not allowed on Qualified Account (profits from such trades removed on soft breach). One, Three, Swing: allowed. source
  • News rule (Swing). Swing: trade opened within 2 minutes before/after a high-impact release must stay open over 2 minutes to be valid. Other programs: 5-minute no-trade window (see Schedule 3 row). source
  • Best Day Rule (on-demand payouts). Requires at least 2% gross profit; no single day above 40% of cumulative profit. Not applied to bi-weekly requests. source
  • Prohibited strategies. Latency, arbitrage, HFT, reverse trading/group hedging, exploiting mispricing, group trading/signal following; position spamming (3+ positions each within 60 seconds); "account management services are not allowed". source
  • Profits from prohibited practices void. "Profits generated from prohibited trading practices will be void"; copy trading can lead to termination (9.1.5). source
  • Discretion to withhold performance fees. Schedule 2, 2.6: performance fees "will not be paid where we ascertain, in our sole discretion" (condition continues in terms). source
  • Termination/suspension. 7.1: Alpha "may terminate and/or may suspend a User's access"; 27.1: breach determination by Alpha is "final and binding". source
  • Governing law. English law (condition 28). source
  • Refund / cooling-off. 14-day cooling-off notice window (16.1) but user consents to waive it on placing first virtual trade (16.2); refunds only as set out in terms (11.1). source
