E8 Markets: rules, terms and fine print
USA (Texas). Funds: simulated. Italy: not on the restricted list (some eu countries are for specific products).
Where the money is real, and where it is not
- The challenge account is simulated. The firm describes the challenge account as simulated, not as trading with the firm's capital.
- Your fee is real money, and it is spent. The evaluation fee (plus any reset, renewal or activation fee) leaves your bank account. If you fail, it is normally not refunded.
- A payout is real money, but it is a promise. Profits earned on the simulated account are paid from the firm's own funds, and every firm reserves discretion over payouts and account closure in its terms.
- Nobody independent verifies payouts. For most firms we found no certified third-party record of what was actually paid. Only the firm's own pages and trackers of unknown method.

Rules and clauses that decide outcomes
- All-or-nothing / consistency of approach. Risking the entire daily drawdown on a single trade is not permitted; risk team may require a longer history and may restrict trading, terminate, or withhold payouts if consistency is not shown. source

- Discretion to deny payouts / terminate. E8 may withhold or revoke payout awards if it determines in its sole discretion the user is not in compliance; may terminate with or without notice; may invalidate performance data and deny pending or future rewards. source
- Penalties and interviews. Prohibited practices lead to termination and refund of the fee of that account; closure may include loss of accrued profits; E8 may limit risk to 1% per trade idea; random risk-team interviews at any stage. source
