Free trading journal: your trading, measured.

Import your trades, link each one to a strategy card and see whether your results come from the strategy or from how you execute it. It runs in your browser and keeps your data on your device.

What it does

Four things that change how you trade

Strategy cards

Write the rules, the checklist and the expected result per trade before you trade. Start from templates for EMA, VWAP and chart patterns, or write your own.

R multiples and expectancy

Enter the planned stop and the journal measures every trade in R, then compares your results with the expectancy you declared.

Discipline checks

Stop respected, trades right after a loss, plan written first, emotional state and oversized positions, each with an explanation.

Your data stays with you

Import a CSV or JSON from your exchange. Nothing is uploaded. Press the demo button to see it filled with example trades.

Questions people ask

Do I need an account to use the trading journal?

No. The journal has no sign-in. It runs in your browser and stores your trades in local storage on your device. You can import trades from CSV or JSON and export them to CSV.

Where is my trading journal data stored?

In your browser's local storage, on your device. The trades you import are not sent to a server. Clearing site data deletes them.

What does the journal measure?

Win rate, profit factor, expectancy, drawdown, streaks, fees and results in R, linked to the written strategy of each trade.

What should I record in a trading journal?

See the short guide: what to write in a trading journal.
