• 14 November (year not stated on the page) Technical issue left customers unable to log in; systems put in maintenance mode. Platform restored from 18:00 and fully running 18:30. Outcome: Bitvavo stated it was resolved and pointed to infrastructure-related issues; page does not mention customer funds. source
• 2025-10-15 Reported by NL Times citing NOS and Financieele Dagblad: Bitvavo management and owners had easy access to customer data and accounts; Bitvavo confirmed to NOS that managers had access until spring 2024 and says only authorized departments have access now.
